Air Cargo Belgium is looking for a Strategic Projects Manager who can transform ideas into strategically relevant projects. Do you have a passion for aviation and project management? As Strategic Projects Manager you are responsible for different kinds of projects, from the early ideas to the final content and financial report. Together with a team of young professionals and a wide range of stakeholders, you make sure these projects are delivered in an excellent way.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a strategic vision and plan for the (sub-)categories in your scope (incl. but not limited to sustainability, customs, trucking, international collaboration, communication, etc.) in collaboration with a cross-functional team to create breakthroughs, achieve quick wins and/or foster innovation.
• Translate ideas into concrete projects that does fit the organization’s overall strategy and make the BRUcargo community more attractive, efficient, innovative, digital, sustainable and successful.
• Discover new business areas interesting for ACB to focus on and bring all relevant stakeholders together in order to successfully launch the new concept/idea/project/…
• Be aware of new subsidy opportunities (regional, Belgian, European) to fund the application of new and innovative technologies, concepts, etc. within our industry and prepare all required documentation.
• Create new long term partnerships with relevant airfreight stakeholders.
• Follow-up on internally as well as externally funded projects, both from an operational as well as from a financial and administrative point of view.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
• Lead and mentor a dynamic team of young professionals to achieve project objectives.

Requirements:

• Has strong influencing and (senior) stakeholder management skills.
• Has a master’s degree or equivalent through experience.
• Speaks fluent Dutch and English.

Relevant experience in the air freight industry is considered as a plus, however, also newcomers to the industry with a relevant background in another industry are encouraged to apply.
