The Project Coordinator is responsible for the overall project coordination (capturing project ideas, drafting project charters, deciding on project scope, setting up & monitoring project planning, project deadlines, and project execution) and supports the ACB management in project administration and finance. Project Coordinators are expected to show leadership so they can independently organize and lead project meetings, ensuring the involvement of relevant colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners, including regulatory authorities. The Project Coordinator takes ownership of reporting project results and keeping track of timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and monitoring project plans.
• Organizing, attending, leading, and participating in stakeholder meetings with both private and public sector partners.
• Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
• Assessing project risks and issues and providing solutions where applicable.
• Showing leadership to assign tasks to colleagues or other relevant stakeholders.
• Identifying and establishing partnerships with relevant stakeholders, including government agencies, to enhance the impact and visibility of our cargo community.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate…

• Has a collaborative and goal-oriented mind-set and is a team player.
• Is motivated to work on different projects in a dynamic environment.
• Takes ownership and can autonomously drive initiatives.
• Is stakeholder-oriented and can manage relationships with key stakeholders, including customs authorities and other regulatory bodies.
• Has a bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or equivalent through experience. Experience in customs procedures and/or air freight is a plus.
• Has excellent writing and verbal communication skills in fluent Dutch and English.
