ACB 2.0

16 Oct 2018 | General

The new operational structure of Air Cargo Belgium is elaborated! In our search towards more engagement and a more efficient way of working, a new steering group, project group & cluster structure is set up within our association.

Clusters

The Forwarder, Airline and Handling Clusters of Air Cargo Belgium gather the different communities, operating at BRUcargo. Handler, Airline and Forwarder specific topics are handled within the dedicated clusters. The cluster acts as Single Point of Contact towards the communities of BRUcargo, to check interest in projects, align expectations in initiatives set up by steering groups and project groups, but also to inform the different communities on output of projects and to keep our stakeholders engaged in ACB initiatives.

Steering Groups

The Steering Groups are advisory and consultative bodies within Air Cargo Belgium. Topics defining for the projects groups, and decision making and reflection on cross company projects is elaborated through the Steering Groups. Most of the Steering Groups remained; Digitisation, Innovation, HR&Training, Customs, and our niche products; Pharma, AVI, Fresh & e-Commerce. The Operational Efficiency, Security and e-freight Steering Group are merged from now on, because of the overlapping scopes. Safety and Dangerous Goods are the 4th and 5th topic to be handled in the Operational Excellence Steering Group.

Projects

Through our steering groups, cross company projects in the overall benefit of our BRUcargo community are worked out. The project members are steering group members, or internal organisation experts, delegated by the steering group members. Members from different steering groups can participate or delegate internal experts in our different project groups, depending on the project.
